2. Relax a day in Botanical Garden (Botanical Gardens) and another in the The Gardens
Singapore Botanical Garden is a huge national park of 70 hectares. It is open to visitors every day from 5 am to midnight and entry is free. In the early hours of the morning and evening, the park is invaded by a lot of locals doing their everyday running on the alleys of the garden, among palm trees and banana. Sundays, grassy lawns are too small for the many young people who gather here to relax on the grass to practice different sports and for picnics. Tourists, too, come in large numbers in the garden every day and every month of the year to admire and smell flowers of all colors and varieties, herbs, fruit trees (exotic), giants bamboo, three lakes and various birds.
The huge gardens (The Gardens) were inaugurated in 2012 and are extending over more than 100 hectares of land. Outdoor gardens can be free visited between the hours of 5 am – 2 am, and greenhouses and other attractions between 9 am – 9 pm for a fee of 24 $SG.
