Green beans with garlic is a very easy side dish with fewer calories, which can successfully replace potatoes next to a steak. What I like is that we can enjoy this food in summer and winter, because beans can be stored in the freezer.

Ingredients (5-6 servings)
–  1 kilo of fresh green beans, trimmed and snapped in half
–  4-5 cloves of garlic
–  3-4 tablespoons oil
–  salt
Method:
Place green beans into a large skillet and cover with water; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer until beans start to soften, about 5 minutes. Drain water. Add oil to green beans; cook and stir for 2 to 3 minutes. Make a sauce of garlic, oil and salt. Mix it with the green beans.
