Feeling sluggish or out of sync? Struggling with skin problems, aches and pains, or digestive problems? Can’t seem to lose weight? It might be time for a body detox.
Detoxification should concern everyone who wants to be healthy. What to do for your body detoxifiation: Start the diet in weekend or in the last week of your vacation, when you do not have too much to do. Having free time you can go to market, analyze online shops from where to buy organic and natural products and prepare your menu. If you still have a few days to stay at home here is a detox diet that will keep you busy and will set up your tone.
Body Detox means to detoxify your liver. Eat more vegetables like broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage and Brussels sprouts. A key factor in supporting liver detoxification is to maintain acid-base balance in the body meaning that it should not be too acid. Renowned nutritionist Patrick Holford recommend us in “Optimum Nutrition Book” to take a supplement that contains minerals with an increased consumption of fruits and vegetables.
Below is a list of tips and principles of detoxification:
1. Take walks at least 15 minutes daily.
You can follow the body’s detoxification diet in spring when appear the first fruits and vegetables (radishes, green onions, lettuce, parsley root, mirabelle, cherry, strawberry) or in autumn when you can find a lot of fruits and vegetables full of vitamins and minerals (blueberries, pears , grapes, pumpkins, plums, tomatoes, eggplant and many others).
2. Detoxification involves drinking at least two liters of water daily- purified, filtered or bottled.
You can also consume dandelion coffee or herbal teas. Dandelion extract is diuretic and detoxifying.
3. Drink 250 ml of fruits and vegetables juice daily.
For detoxification and loosing weight I recommend apple or carrot juice with ginger or watermelon fresh juice. The watermelon core is rich in beta carotene and C vitamin. The seeds are rich in E vitamin, antioxidant minerals zinc and selenium. You can prepare an antioxidant cocktail by mixing both core and seeds in a blender.
4. I recommend you to eat in large quantities these foods:
Some fruit – fresh apricots, all types of berries (blueberries, raspberries), melon, citrus, kiwi, papaya, peaches, mango, watermelon and red grapes.
Certain vegetables – artichokes, peppers, beets, Brussels sprouts, broccoli, red cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, cucumbers, cabbage, squash, spinach, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, watercress, beans and seeds.
5. I recommend a moderate eating of the following foods:
Cereals – brown rice, corn, millet, quinoa; not more than twice a day.
Fish – salmon, mackerel, sardines, tuna; no more than once a day.
Oils – used in cooking extra-virgin olive oil instead of butter and cold-pressed oils for sauces.
Nuts and seeds – a handful each day, raw and unsalted. Choose from almonds, Brazil nuts, hazelnuts, walnuts, hazelnuts, pumpkin seeds, sesame and flax seeds.
6. If you want to follow an effective detoxifying diet, please avoid all wheat based products, meat and dairy products
– milk and its derivatives, eggs, meat, salt – and all salty foods, hydrogenated fats, sweeteners, food additives and preservatives, sauces and dried fruits. Be careful in eating of potatoes and bananas.
7. Aloe vera juice is also a complex tonic to increase detoxification of your digestive tract.
In combination with a large number of herbs, aloe vera juice helps in the detoxification process.
Below I give you my best diet that realy works:
In the morning, when you wake up, drink room temperature glass of water and two tablespoons of lemon juice. Then take a red pepper, cut it in half and fill with cheese. Do not put salt, you can choose an assortment salt diet of cheese. Finally drink green tea with lemon and sweetened with agave syrup (or other natural sweetener). Select Chinese green tea leaves.
Lunch: a glass of water and lemon before breakfast; a large salad: 5 leaves of lettuce, two tablespoons of flax seeds, a parsley, a slice of cheese, two peppers, two tablespoons of core seeds (sunflower or pumpkin), 10 fresh spinach leaves. Finely chop all ingredients, mix and NOT with salt, pepper, oil or any other ingredient.
Snack: two cucumbers with salt;
Dinner: a glass of water and lemon before; a large bowl of chicken soup (without oil).
Do not eat bread!
